The most valuable car ever to be offered in Prostate Cancer Canada’s annual Rock the Road Raffle is set to be given away at the 2019 Canadian International AutoShow.

Generously donated by the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA), one lucky person will be taking home a flashy red 2018 Acura NSX, valued at $235,000. Since 2013, the six previous Rock the Road Raffles have raised $1.8 million for research and support services funded by Prostate Cancer Canada.

“Rock the Road Raffle is an extremely important way to raise funds so we can make a difference in the lives of the one in seven Canadian men and their families facing a prostate cancer diagnosis,” says Peter Coleridge, President and CEO, Prostate Cancer Canada. “TADA has gone above and beyond with the highest sticker price yet for a raffle car. It will be exciting to see one lucky person drive away from the AutoShow in this incredible vehicle.”

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer affecting Canadian men, killing an estimated 4,100 each year.  Raffle funds help Prostate Cancer Canada continue making its contribution to the ongoing decline in the death rate from this disease.

“Rock the Road Raffle has become one of the most anticipated events at the Canadian International AutoShow,” says Larry Lantz, President of the 2019 Canadian International AutoShow. “Year in and out, TADA puts a stunning car on the block. With a total of 30,000 number of tickets available, the odds are favourable while letting all purchasers know they support one of the most vital causes in men’s health.”

Tickets for the 2019 Rock the Road Raffle are available until February 21, 2019, at RockTheRoadRaffle.ca, by calling 1-855-441-1267 and in person at the Canadian International AutoShow. The draw will take place at noon on February 22 at the AutoShow. Tickets cost $25 each or three for $60.

Raffled cars since 2013 have included a Camaro ZL1, Corvette Stingray 3LT, Mustang GT, Audi S5, Dodge Hellcat Challenger and a Porsche Carrera Cabriolet.
