Kicker CompVX employs extraordinary thermal-management technology to deliver outstanding bass reproduction with high power handling. Dual voice coils with high-temp copper windings readily handle intense heat and high power, while venting in the back bracing and along the spider landing provide ample air flow to cool the voice coils. The cast-aluminum basket also features motor-cooling perimeter venting, and a solid, extended pole piece aides in heat dissipation while improving acoustic performance.
