2022 Battle at the Border: Lancaster, NY

Battle at the Border is back! But It was no easy task. After their 2020 event, Mike Prell, the President of Battle at the Border called it quits. But a year later, Lancaster Motorplex called him up and asked to run-it-back.

Battle at the Border was reborn on August 28th, 2022 at Lancaster Motorplex in New York for a 1-day event of drifting, 2-step competition, car limbo and show & shine competitions and live performances! The event had been a premier automotive lifestyle event in Buffalo, NY for over 15 years. This announcement was well-received from Western New York and Ontario automotive enthusiasts

Battle at the Border hosted another round of our 10th annual Tuner Battlegrounds Championship presented by Liqui Moly. The Top 4 Competitors battled for votes in intense match-ups. The Top 4 were:

  1. Mike Prell Jr (1998 Lexus GS300)
  2. Gary Reilich (2019 Chevy Silverado RST)
  3. John Moss (1994 Acura Integra GSR)
  4. Michael Stineman (2018 Volkswagen Golf TSI)

With a total of 97 overall votes, John Moss was awarded with the trophy and a print feature in PASMAG! Congratulations goes out to John, and a huge thank you to all the voters and supporters at Battle at the Border.
