For the first time in the Formula DRIFT series' 19-year existence, Round 7 of the FD PRO Championship and the Final Round of the PROSPEC Championship were both held at Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, Utah. FD PRO Round 7 was also the first time for PASMAG's Tuning 365 Show, and dozens of enthusiasts registered their custom vehicle and competed for an exclusive and custom Editor's Choice award for their chance to be featured in PASMAG.
In the Driver’s Choice award category, FD PRO Driver Dylan Hughes selected Mushtaq Alkarkhi's (LTO: Live to Offend) 1991 BMW E30, and that was followed by Larry Chen’s Pick - a 1972 Datsun 510 owned by Randy Do (Tailored). Editor’s Choice was given to Gabriel Guerrero (Elevate) for his 2010 Mitsubishi Evolution X, and Best Team was awarded to Team Elevate.
FD PRO Round 7 was also host to another round of our 10th Annual PASMAG Tuner Battlegrounds Championship, and in this #TBGLIVE award category Joshua Duran (NVUS) with a 2015 Audi A4 Quattro received the popular vote with a total of 122 votes!
Finally, we occasionally like to recognize people for their contributions to the automotive community and their efforts, and Caleb Warren (Spec V Society), owner of a 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V, received our Honorable Mention award.
