Tuner Evolution’s 6th annual tour stop in the Chicago area was held at Schaumburg Convention Center in Illinois. Big Mike was once again host of the event, and was responsible for keeping the vibe in check for all the attendees. Both indoor and outdoor show fields were sold out, so let’s check out some award winners!
AWARD WINNERS TO SPOTLIGHT
- Best KDM - @wicked.bk2 from Team Elevate for his 2013 Remake Genesis 2.0T
- Best Paint - Josh Turner (@jturner.photog) from Vaded Mob for his Bagged LS400
- Best S2000 - Miguel Guerrero (@voltx_s2k) for his Voltex S2000
- Top Honors: Best Euro - Kris Athey (@that_bagged_benz) for his Mercedes-Benz R107 SL, probably the cleanest one in the state!
One feature at Tuner Evolution that always gets my attention is the Live Q&A, which is hosted by Big Mike (@thebigmike), and he asks competitors about their builds. At the Chicago event, Big Mike selected Miguel Guerrero’s Voltex equipped S2000 and Miguel Garcia’s K24 powered S2000 and they both hard-parked in front of the stage. The spectators not only got the opportunity to know a little about the different S2000s, but also got to know the process of each builder. They got to know behind the builds!
