RAYS has expanded the finish options for its VOLK Racing ZE40X with the introduction of Shining Light Metal, giving off-road enthusiasts another premium option for the forged wheel lineup.
Based on the same design philosophy as the ZE40, the ZE40X was developed specifically for 4x4 and truck applications. The forged one-piece wheel combines lightweight construction with the strength required for demanding off-road use, featuring reinforced spoke geometry and a heavily machined center section to increase rigidity without unnecessary weight.
RAYS says the spoke design is bonded directly to the rim to improve durability over rough terrain, while extensive backside machining helps optimize the balance between strength and weight. The ZE40X also meets both the JWL-T truck standard and RAYS’ in-house JWL+R testing criteria.
The new Shining Light Metal finish joins the ZE40X lineup, giving truck and SUV enthusiasts another option for builds designed to handle everything from daily driving to rugged trails.
