Team Emotion is a long-standing car club with deep roots and a wide variety of beautifully assembled builds. Even amidst all the incredible cars they have, a huge portion of the team—including some founding members—refer to Aum Sung’s SC400 as the team’s flagship. A quick look at the Lexus, even from a distance, quickly shows exactly why. From the body lines of his BN Sports kit to the overall styling and how it works together with the wheels, it’s visibly a radically transformed version of the 1992 SC400.

What you may not see from a distance is what lurks beneath the hood. With his inspiration coming from an iconic HKS Soarer, it’s only fitting that Sung swapped in the 2JZ of his dreams. Bolstered by a Precision 6466 turbo and a catalog of parts from HKS and Powerhouse Racing, amid tons of other supporting mods, his 2JZ is putting down an earth-shaking 900 horsepower at the rear wheels, singing its signature note through an HKS exhaust.

The SC400 is a sight to behold as well, because Sung loves rare parts as a method of making his build completely unique. He spent many years in his garage with friends and team members, putting in as much work as possible with trial and error until he arrived at something he was satisfied with, which was sent for paint immediately after to become a show-stopper. His effort and attention to detail over the years, along with his appearance on the PASMAG podcast, earned him a well-deserved feature here in PASMAG.
