aFe Power announces the release of a Stage-2 intake system for the 2012-14 Chevrolet Camaro V8-3.6L, P/N 54-12382.
In testing, this cold air intake system resulted in 14 horsepower, 20 lbs. x ft. torque max gain and outflowed the factory intake by 21%. This intake system includes an 18 gauge powder-coated heat shield and a massive eight inch tall filter. The air filter uses a unique (patent-pending) flange retention design that allows the filter to be securely mounted to the heat shield without any hardware. A one-piece mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube maximizes air velocity providing maximum performance and throttle response. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts. The air filter uses a unique patent pending flange retention design that requires no hardware to mount the filter to the heat shield to provide a quick hassle-free installation with minimal hardware. A massive eight inch air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration. The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
