Tickets On-Sale Now For 2020 Formula DRIFT Rounds

Tickets On-Sale Now For 2020 Formula DRIFT Rounds
Tickets available for rounds 1-7, including the new venues at Sonoma Raceway and Englishtown Raceway – 2020 Irwindale Finals tickets to follow.

Formula DRIFT – the world’s leading international drifting championship – is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for rounds 1 to 7 of the eight-round 2020 series. With many of the rounds sold out in advance or filled to capacity, early purchases will allow fans across the country and overseas to ensure they’re able to experience the best drift drivers in world battle in head-to-head competition. Tickets are available at formulad.com/schedule.

With the exception of the Final Round, which will take place at Irwindale Speedway on October 16-17, 2020, tickets are available for all other rounds. This includes the new venues announced last year, which include Sonoma Raceway in Northern California, and the brand new, purpose-built drift arena at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park (AKA Englishtown) in New Jersey. The drift arena replaces the long standing NHRA-spec drag strip, which has been demolished to move forward with the new venture.

In addition to General Admission and Reserved Seat tickets, the popular Formula DRIFT Fan Experience tickets will also be available. These offer early access to the venue, fast track to the driver autograph sessions, a track walk and trackside viewing for the opening ceremony. This package allows FD fans to immerse themselves deeper into the sport they love.

New for 2020 is an extremely limited Formula DRIFT Fan Pack, which will be sold to attendees at each event. It features a limited edition event pin specific to each venue, an event-specific tote bag, event-specific lanyard and a special Formula DRIFT 1:64 scale die-cast car. Available in very small quantities, each pack will allow fans to celebrate their attendance at individual rounds with truly collectible merchandise, including the newest additions to the FD calendar at Sonoma Raceway and Englishtown.

Formula DRIFT President, Jim Liaw, said “We’re extremely excited to kick off our 17th season, which starts at its traditional venue on the Streets of Long Beach on April 10-11. After a titanic battle last year to crown the PRO and PRO2 category Champions, and two exciting new venues added to the calendar, we’re looking forward to another thrilling year of competition.”
