“Our new flagship is the Super Carbon,” said Norton. “The Super Carbon is an all-business twin or triple carbon plate clutch that will handle up to 1500lb-ft of torque and drive great doing it. But that is only one segment of our vast line of SPEC clutches. We have an application for all modification and drivability combinations.”

When searching for a clutch, it is a commonly held belief that going with the highest horsepower rating will be more than sufficient. Well, there is such a thing as too much clutch and mounting a triple carbon up to your 4-banger with basic perform [ … ]

A Midwestern parts retail powerhouse, Summit Racing has come to market with many different house label products. We reviewed some last year that were both innovative and convenient, but this time around they have a new take on a popular product: semi-synthetic lubricants to protect your motor.

Here at PASMAG, we preach the values of synthetic lubricants. Modifying nature’s molecules have resulted in a wide array of benefits for the enthusiast. We have been preaching the virtues of Optima Batteries in a variety of applications for years. Their versatile design makes them a hit for custom applications and when it comes to power, they always deliver. Whether it is a RedTop as a single under hood battery or an army of YellowTops in a ridicu [ … ]

We’ve all done a brake job and been slammed by the final bill when a lot of parts need to be replaced. Well, consider a brake job on the Nissan R35 GT-R to make you feel better – it costs over $5,000 to complete. The OEM Brembo rotors perform well but the mission at Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) was [ … ]

During a two-hour conversation I had with the BorgWarner Turbo Systems team and their PR reps at HP Prose, I realized they were about to start a revolution. Turbos from the EFR series are high performance units that requires no additional wastegate or even a blow-off valve! Everything is integrated into a compact frame constructed of exotic materials.

Each year we see some improvements in materials and overall efficiency from turbo manufacturers, but nothing prepared us for what we found at the BorgWarner Turbo Systems booth at SEMA recently. BorgWarner Turbo Systems have been manufacturing turbos and wastegates under their AirWerks brand for a [ … ]
