PAS: Who are you?

Mike Anthony Moffa: I’m an Italian, New Yorker. I’m very persistent and funny. I always wear a visor and dark tint glasses.


PAS: Where are you from?

Mike Anthony Moffa: I was born & raised in Queens, New York. I currently live in Orlando, Florida.


PAS: Did you go to school to study photography?

Mike Anthony Moffa: No, I am 100% self taught. I have never even read a Photo book.



PAS: How did you get into photography?

Mike Anthony Moffa: It was always a hobby, then I got laid off twice from the same company and decided to start my own company.


PAS: How long have you been a photographer?

Mike Anthony Moffa: 10 years


PAS: How would you describe your style?

Mike Anthony Moffa: I can shoot everything except underwater and aerial.


PAS: What sort of equipment and software do you use?

Mike Anthony Moffa: All Canon Equipment and Photoshop.



PAS: Where is your favorite location to shoot pictures?

Mike Anthony Moffa: Exotic outside locations with natural light


PAS: Are you a MAC or PC user?

Mike Anthony Moffa: PC


PAS: What has been your most memorable assignment or vehicle/model to work with?

Mike Anthony Moffa: My August AXIS Magazine cover with Ms. July 2010 Playboy Playmate Shanna McLaughlin b/c it received local, national and international exposure. I ended up on National TV and Radio.


PAS: What would you say to other enthusiast photographers out there who aspire to become a great photographer?

Mike Anthony Moffa: Never give up. Lighting is the hardest part to master. It took me years before I was able to manipulate sunlight and studio light. Keep pushing yourself to get better.
