Street Life Tour 2011

The Street Life Tour seems to get bigger and better every year. For the past four years the sleepy town of Xenia, Ohio gets flooded with thousands of tuners and their cars for two days of absolute anarchy. Xenia’s local Kil-Kare Speedway acts as the stomping ground for all who dare to show their skills behind the wheel, and the closest analogy we can think of is this event is like an amusement park for petrol heads. There is something for everyone here without all of the political B.S. that comes with larger events of this caliber. A “come one…

CSCS Round 5 2012: Cayuga, ON

Fifty events. One decade. No matter how you choose to look at it, Canadian Sport Compact Series (CSCS) has been around for a long time. Every year has brought new surprises, new sponsors, new competitors and even more new fans. More importantly, the old competitors, the veterans, the die-hards; they’re still there and pushing harder than ever. CSCS has become one of those rare events where new meets old and they actually benefit from each other. This unspoken understanding at the heart of automotive competition is the shared desire to go faster, louder, lower, or more sideways -wherever your passion…

CSCS Round 2 2012: Grand Bend, ON

Round 2 of Canadian Sport Compact Series saw the championship on Ontario's West Coast at Grand Bend Motorplex for the first time since the development of a brand new road circuit perfect for all the CSCS Championships. Despite the distance, thousands of fans showed up to see the action as competitors and sponsors made a weekend out of it by enjoying the beach and learning the new track layout in the days leading up to the event. Presenting sponsor Versace Parfums was out in full force giving out samples to spectators and taking care of road circuit competitors with their…

Importfest 2016: Toronto, ON

August is a pretty awesome month for car enthusiasts in Canada. It's the peak of the summer, and far enough into the season that everyone has their car out in its newest iteration, even the late bloomers. Car shows are plentiful, whether parking lot meets or 'show and shine' competitions, but there is one shining gem that brings every facet or car culture together every year, and attracts enthusiasts for all over the country (plus some south of the border) to show up with their best and just have a good time. This show is Importfest. For the 16th consecutive…
