PASMAG Audience Choice Awards – Official Voting Guidelines (2025)
Effective Immediately – Applies to All Voters and All Categories
The PASMAG Audience Choice Awards celebrate the automotive community by recognizing the builds, creators, events and shops that made the biggest impact over the past year. To ensure fairness, transparency, and authenticity, all voters must follow the official rules outlined below.
1. Voting Overview
The Audience Choice Awards are open to the public. Each eligible participant may submit one (1) ballot per person during the voting period. A ballot consists of one set of selections across all available categories.
No purchase is necessary to participate.
2. Eligibility
Voting is open to automotive enthusiasts globally who have reached the age of majority in their region.
PASMAG employees, contractors, and their immediate families are welcome to vote but may not influence or alter the vote-counting process.
3. One Ballot Per Person
To maintain fairness:
- Each voter may submit only one (1) ballot for the entirety of the awards.
- Ballots must be submitted no later than December 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
- Multiple ballots from the same individual (including using additional emails, accounts, devices, or identities) are strictly prohibited.
- Any attempt to vote more than once may lead to complete disqualification of all ballots connected to that voter.
4. Registration Requirement
To protect the authenticity of the awards and prevent fraudulent activity, voters must register with a valid email address when submitting their ballot.
Registration:
- Ensures voting accuracy and fairness
- Allows PASMAG to verify the legitimacy of submitted ballots
- Helps prevent repeat or automated submissions
5. Scrutiny and Verification of Votes
All submitted ballots are subject to review.
PASMAG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Verify email addresses, IP addresses, and submission timestamps
- Remove any ballots deemed fraudulent or suspicious
- Disqualify any entrant engaged in automated voting, vote farming, or manipulation
Examples of disallowed voting behavior include, but are not limited to:
- Submitting multiple ballots
- Using bots, automation tools, or browser scripts
- Mass-registering fake or temporary email addresses
- Coordinated vote manipulation
Votes that do not meet these standards will be removed without notice.
6. Determining Winners
Once the voting period closes:
- Votes are counted and verified
- Any fraudulent or duplicate ballots are removed
- In each category, the entry with the highest number of valid votes will be declared the winner
- In the rare event of a tie, both entries may be recognized.
7. Use of Personal Information
Voter information is used primarily to administer the PASMAG Audience Choice Awards and to uphold the fairness and integrity of the ballot process. Data may be shared with third-party service providers for the purpose of vote verification only.
If a voter explicitly opts in to receive PASMAG newsletters or promotional emails, their email address will also be added to our mailing list. Voters who do not opt in will not receive marketing communications.
PASMAG will never sell voter information, and data will not be used for unrelated marketing unless the voter has provided clear consent.
8. Right to Amend
PASMAG may update these guidelines, suspend voting, or disqualify entries if necessary to preserve the integrity of the awards.
