September 2013: Forced Induction Special
The Cover Car
Expertly Cultivated: 1972 Nissan Skyline GT2000
For some reason, the best tuners are often the ones that were purchased with little to no planning in mind. Case in point, Jacob Reining’s Hyundai Genesis 2.0T Track Edition is part of a long lineage of cars. His dad used to tell him stories about his collection of brute American muscle cars, including a 1964 ½ Ford Mustang and ’70 Chevelle SS, which spurred Reining’s interest as a young kid.
The Gencoupe you see gracing these pages started from modest beginnings, as Reining originally planned little more than a wheel and suspension upgrade, and maybe a few stereo components. After some good fortune, he went ahead and started building the ultimate RWD Turbo.
What do we really have to say about Jamie Michelle? It’s easy to see she’s gorgeous and knows what she’s doing. Add that she’s from So Cal, loves old school Cadillac’s and has more than a bit of a wild side, and we have to say we hit it out of the park with this month’s cover model. But don’t take our word for it; check it out in her interview below.
Shopping can be overwhelming at times. Over the past several issues we have discussed several topics including OEM integration, head units, subwoofers, amplifiers and component speakers. As these vital parts are required to build your mobile audio system, the wiring and distribution components function as the arteries and veins that deliver the power, signal and operation of everything. Based off of our readers concerns, PASMAG will guide you in choosing the best wiring and distribution to suit your needs.
