Reader's Choice Issue 2011

This month we celebrate you, our readers; it’s the annual Reader’s Choice Issue. We packed a bunch of pages with ‘reader rides’ and ‘car club’ profiles to say thanks for all the support over the past year. We also managed to fit five more jaw dropping features including one on a 2010 Audi S5 and a 2003 Nissan 350Z.

Featured here is this month’s cover car, a sleek Honda S2000 we’ve rightfully titled, “Lock & Loaded.”

As far as events go, we’ve managed to cover the lot: Waterfest 17, Formula Drift Round 4, the latest Import Face-off and many more.

It may be the dog days of summer, but we’re still bringing the heat in the model department. This month’s model cover models are two of our favourites, the erotic Claudia Verela – an utter knockout, and the girl next door, Sandy Garza. We put six new products to the test at the Cogent Audio Labs as well as this month’s 12-Volt and Speed Gear Guides.

THE EVENT

Since 2002 Englishtown, New Jersey has been home to the largest water-cooled, VW and Audi show in the planet, known as Waterfest. As thousands of VW and Audi enthusiasts flock to this small town for 2 days of show, go and after hours mayhem. The organizers of Waterfest never disappoint with tons of activities jammed packed in one weekend.

Gary Springgay and the boys at Cogent Audio Labs put some of the best car audio products on the market to the test. This month, we take a look at the Clarion CZ 401, the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 30BT Nav./CD Receiver, and the Kenwood KFC-X183C Coaxial, just to name a few.
