Last week, I went to a local Japanese car monthly meet and I thought it would great to cover the scene for you to see what’s going on in France. Truth is, when I first walked in, I was a bit disappointed. There were lots of stock cars and very few that caught my attention, not to mention that the car parking lot is not really proper place for any form of shoot.
Off to the corner and parked away from the rest of the crowd, I found this Honda Civic EJ2 – and this one definitely has some unique style!
The first thing to notice is this ride is slammed hard to the ground thanks to a set of ZENKY coilovers (-120mm front, -105mm rear) and its aggressive stance is possible with a +/-4° with camber kit.
Wheels on this French Civic are a set of Sportmax 002 with a Silver finish sized at 16-inch by 8-inch all around and wrapped in MAXXIS MA-Z1 205/40R16 tires. This good looking wheel and tire combo are secured with the use of red TITEK lug nuts for that added splash of color.
Inside, two black and red S’Racing seats take place alongside an RRS steering wheel and harnesses.
The paint you see on the left front quarter panel was done by an old friend of mine, Hangplay Graphics. This guy not only does incredible paint jobs, but much more – I’ll tell you more about him soon enough, so be sure to stay tuned.
This is exactly the type of Civic you see at North American tuner shows, but is definitely something different here in France and a head turner.
What do you think?
