Redline Track Events Liberty Grand Prix - Willow Springs Raceway

As the Redline Track Events series approaches its halfway point in the 2011 season, the series headed back to Willow Springs Raceway for the 2nd annual Redline Track Events Liberty Grand Prix.  As usual in the desert in July, temperatures were north of 106° and as we all know, heat is the natural enemy of race cars.  Heat related mechanical issues plagued a record number of teams making this event a competition of reliability. Drift 4 Cash 2011: Pre Event to the DMCC Season

It was a drift event of unusual circumstance – pro and pro-am drivers mixed together. After qualification it was time for what everyone had shown up for: the top 8 battles. This event was dramatically different; each tandem battle winner would receive cash-in-hand, right on the track – this isn’t the world of giant checks and credit. Formula Drift Round 2 2012: Braselton, GA

Formula D returned to the birthplace of the series for the second stop in their ninth season with a bit of a twist for the drivers. The paved horseshoe of the turn 10 complex at Road Atlanta was originally built specifically to accommodate the series, and the FD Judges designed to change the course slightly to facilitate a more technical configuration which encouraged closer tandem.
