NWMOTIV: Forum Fest 2011

It was a weird week leading up to the 2nd Annual Forum Fest presented by NOS Energy Drinks. The weather was different every day, some wet and cloudy, some sunny and mild but no one could have guessed what the weather was going to do for Saturday the 25th of June. The weather finally turned for the best early the morning of the event and eventually brought out sunny skies and mild temps. NWMotiv, tasked with producing the event ran in conjunction with Pacific Raceways; is a car show, drag race and drift exhibition rolled into one massive event. In…

DMCC Round 2 2013: St-Eustache, QC

DMCC rolled into Autodrome St-Eustache for the second round of competition this year. For this round, the top 8 seeded pro-am drivers were invited to compete with the pros for the first ever top 32 competition. The event was a long one as everything was packed into one full day; at least the weather was nice in comparison to round one.During the morning, I spotted Pat Cyr and he was not with his new FRS. The FRS was not 100% ready to compete, but it is supposed to be good to go for round three. It was also cool to…

Battle at the Border 2010

The annual event this year proved to be a staple in the automotive event scene to stay around for years to come. It is one of the only shows to see some amazing machines that we would never typically see here in Canada. A single day event included seven hours of show/drift/drag/stunts and some drooling over one off customs in between, the Battle at the Border gets a different crowd every year. Mixed in with the local cars with custom body kits and airbrushing are some of the most amazing SEMA level cars, some are from local builders, others are on…
