Spring Break Nationals 2012: Daytona Beach, FL

Written by Giancarlo Pawelec | Photos by Randi Bentia Each year around the same time, car audio fanatics make the trek to the sunshine state of Florida for the Spring Break Nationals (SBN) show. The weather was hot, the cars were loud and the booth displays were stellar, to say the least. Over the course of nearly three decades, the SBN show has grown immensely drawing crowds upwards of 15,000 during the weekend and a showcase featuring every major audio brand in the country. Whether you’re into head-bobbing sound offs or checking out the latest offerings, the show once again…

Waterfest 2011: Englishtown, NJ

Since 2002 Englishtown, New Jersey has been home to the largest water-cooled, VW and Audi show in the planet, known as Waterfest. As thousands of VW and Audi enthusiasts flock to this small town for 2 days of show, go and after hours mayhem. The organizers of Waterfest never disappoint with tons of activities jammed packed in one weekend. On opening day, what seemed like a mile long of enthusiasts lined-up, eager to see the latest creations of the top VW and Audi builders as they competed in the Town Audi Show Car Event. To name a few, builders like…

If there was a car you could not like or a model not pretty enough, then I do not know what is wrong with you. Every car deserves a trophy, each model…

Formula Drift Round 2 2013: Braselton, GA

Celebrating the tenth year of competition, Formula D rolled into Atlanta for their second round of competition in 2013. Road Atlanta was home to the first ever Formula D competition back in April of 2004, and has returned to the same track every year since. The terraced Turn 10 complex is said to be one of the best venues on the FD circuit due to the extreme elevation change and rowdy-yet-knowledgeable spectators who have been attending drifting events for years. Qualifying led to some familiar faces at the top of the grid, with Freddy Aasbo piloting his Hankook Scion tC…
