Cars N Beaches 2014: Ruskin, FL

The 5th annual Cars n Beaches (CNB5) was hosted by iLDS (I Love Driving Slow) at E. G. Simmons Park in Ruskin, FL. Since this was their 2nd year at the E.G. Scion FR-S RC Rally Cup

Scion recently teamed up with R/C company HPI to throw the first-ever FR-S Cup. Held at Toyota’s Torrance, California, corporate headquarters, this just-for-fun event featured a variety of FR-S-based R/C races, an FR-S R/C car show, and even appearances from Scion luminaries like Stephen Papadakis and Five Axis’ Troy Sumitomo. Prizes were awarded throughout the day – we didn’t win anything, but given that we didn’t completely embarrass ourselves during our competition heat, we came out feeling like winners anyway.…
