Consumer Electronics Show 2015: Las Vegas, NV

Text and Photography by Micky Slinger Back to the future The Consumer Electronics Show was a shock to the system. Yes, there were crazy new innovations shown that might make your life easier and sound better, but I’m talking about the sheer enormity of this place. I have been fortunate enough to do both of the biggest trade shows in the world, in one year. After SEMA, I was under the impression that I was the king of the Las Vegas Convention Center. I’m also a huge nerd, so these were my people. I walked into Central Hall thinking, “Let…

DMCC Round 6 2012: St-Eustache, QC

The sixth stop for the DMCC series took place at the Autodrome St Eustache, just north of Montreal, over Labour Day weekend. Two-time DMCC champion, Matt Waldin came out to the event to stir things up, but sadly, on Sunday, his engine let go ending it early. Francis Tasse and “Paco” both had their engines blow during practice leaving the field already three drivers down. Aside from the engine failures,…

As a guest of Toyo, I received special access to the Trust R35 compound, and as you’ll see elsewhere in the magazine, some quality time with Kawabata-san, who endured my 20 questions just for you guys. The main…

SEMA 2010: Las Vegas, NV

Once again, PASMAG hit the concrete to bring you the very best of the performance aftermarket at a little show out in the desert we call SEMA. The 2010 SEMA show was reported to be up over last year with more 11% exhibitors and judging by the jam packed show halls, the traffic was on par with years past. At peak hours it was difficult to move through the packed aisles and some of the hottest SEMA cars were mobbed with on-lookers. We wanted to round up the top 5 builds that really made a statement at the show and…
