Description

Formula DRIFT Returns to Road Atlanta Home of the Inaugural Formula DRIFT Event Back in 2004.

Road Atlanta opened in 1970 and was home of the inaugural Formula DRIFT event back in 2004. The 2.54-mile, 12-turn track is owned by Panoz Motor Sports Group and hosts many events throughout the year including Formula DRIFT.

Utilizing Turns 10A, and 10B of the road course, cars slide sideways through the turns and then hit the loop before the bridge and back towards Turns 10B, 10A, and then ends dramatically by drifting uphill on an incline.

Round 2: Road to the Championship at Road Atlanta will be one of the most anticipated events of the season. The event will be spread between 2 days of drifting action. Drivers are tested on the fast entry and tight turns of the road course and will have to prove that they have what it takes to reach the podium.

Import Face-Off 2011: Tulsa, OK

Photos by Cliff Wallace - www.importfaceoff.net 5th annual Tulsa, Oklahoma IMPORT FACE-OFF: September 18th, 2011 DIE HARD RACERS: Even with an 80% chance of rain, 2010 National points Champion, Aaron Lopez, from San Antonio, Texas made the 10 hour trek to this event hoping just to get in a few points before the rain arrived. Luckily the rain never came and Aaron ended up taking the $1000 win running a 9.6 second pass in the SPEC clutches and flywheels FWD class. He is now just 10 points behind the current points leader, Max Ramos, who did not travel to this…

Lone Star Throwdown 2015: Conroe, TX

Written by Randi Bentia | Photos by Russell Waller (StalRev) There are many things I miss about Texas. At shows, I miss the laid-back atmosphere, the smell of BBQ and trucks (and lots of it). I was reminded of these things from our contributing photographer Russell Waller, also known as StalRev, through his photo coverage of Lone Star Throwdown at Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, TX on Feb 20-22, 2015. Music, food, cars, trucks, car audio and good vibes encourage enthusiasts to come out year after year.…

SPOCOM 2011: Anaheim, CA

I wish I knew then what I know now, because I would have been at the SPOCOM Event last year. Everything at SPOCOM, from the line outside the door to the glam inside, made me grin from ear to ear. To pick one favorite car, model, dance team, bikini model, go-go dancer or side event would be like picking apart a great pizza, the toppings all work together. If there was a car you could not like or a model not pretty enough, then I do not know what is wrong with you. Every car deserves a trophy, each model…

Waterfest Kruize 2012

The Waterfest Kruize is the ultimate way to kick off the Waterfest weekend – what we at PASMAG refer to as a coming of age tradition. Pulling into the JRP parking lot around 6 A.M. can be a gruelling experience for some, but for the anxious VW and Audi fans wired on coffee and energy drink, they’re ready to burn some gas. A 500-mile trip – on the other side of the ditch no less – can also be a daunting task. Keeping the 10-car-convoy together while aiming for strategic gas stops and food are all part of the experience.…
