Fitted Toronto 2016: Brampton, ON

It has been six years since the crew behind the Fitted Lifestyle brand launched their show. In that time, the brand has expanded across the Canadian show scene, hosting multiple events each year. With a central focus on wheels, suspension, and overall stance, the Fitted Lifestyle showcase has become the show for camber-chasers and fitment lovers to debut their newest wheel setups and car builds. The 7th annual Fitted: Toronto showcase kicked off at the Brampton Fairgrounds on May 28th, 2016, and there was no shortage of fitment-centric cars. Competitor cars hit the Brampton Fairgrounds driveway early in the morning…

Import Face-Off 2011: Jacksonville, FL

Cesar Olin from Jacksonville, FL scored a miraculous win in the FWD class running a 9.751 @ 149.68 mph in his Purple Honda Civic over former points leader Michael Yonke from Dunedin, FL in his ‘94 Honda Civic who only ran 13.845 @ 74.37 mph due to mechanical problems. It was a miracle win for Cesar, not because of his quarter-mile times which are very competitive, but because he barely even made it to the track in the first place. An important reminder for anyone hauling a race car: USE TOW STRAPS, don’t rely on just the winch cable. Cesar’s…

Import Expo 2011

It has been nearly a decade since the legendary Markham Fairgrounds hosted an automotive show, let alone a tuner-specific one. The last of the great shows during the old generation series was that of DarkNights, until the Second Glance Media crew brought out Import Expo 2011. With a mountain of expectation to live up to, the show’s itinerary included everything from JDM-flavoured vehicles and track cars, wet t-shirt contests and B-Boy shows, motorcycle stunt teams, a BMX stunt event and had something for every enthusiast. Over 350-strong came out to showcase their rolling works of art in a variety of…
