Formula Drift Round 5 2013: Seattle, WA

Formula D threw down in Seattle, Washington for the fifth stop on the 2013 tour to perfect weather and a sold-out crowd. The Evergreen Speedway track has been on the schedule since 2006, and has provided some of the most dramatic finishes over the past several years. This year would be no different as there were several major shakeups in the championship point’s standings. Friday’s qualifying was topped by Darren McNamara, piloting his Falken Tire S14 to the top position with a qualify score of 97.5, one of the best so far this season. Fredric Aasbo slid into second in…

Import Face-Off 2010: Alton, VA

This Import Face-Off marked the first Import drag and show series to visit Virginia since 2007. Local contestants, especially racers, were extremely appreciative IFO came through. The tour will return to Virginia Motorsports Park in the Spring of 2011. IFO will continue to fill the void and provide quality, sportsman level events for the national Import community. The FWD class was won by number 1 qualifier Shad Sawyer from Virginia Beach, VA in his 99' K series Honda Civic running 10.592 @ 147.44 mph against Ricky Lower from Buena Vista, VA also in a Honda Civic who red lighted in…

Tokyo Auto Salon 2011

The unofficial kick-off to the season always starts with Tokyo Auto Salon where we report on what the considered hot in the JDM market. Three massive halls at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center are jammed with row upon row of insane builds from the intense to the absolutely ridiculous! But beyond the cars themselves are a wealth of activities, new parts to shop for and of course hundreds of JDM hotties wearing next to nothing.     For 2011, what we expected is coming true and truth be told we’re not thrilled about some of the trends. Dozens of…
