Tim Smith and Robert Corwin, using Brax amplifiers and Helix DSP Pro MK2 processor, took a 1-2 sweep in MECA’s Modified class and Robert Corwin also earned the MECA SQL Best of Show and IASCA 1-Seat Triple Crown.

In IASCA’s highly contested Pro Division, Rick Nichols with a new install featuring Unity amplifiers, Clarus Subwoofers, Legatia SE front stage, and Helix DSP PRO MK2, won Runner-Up. Team Hybrids’ captain, Scott Welch traveled from California to support the team throughout the weekend, as did Scott Buwalda, founder of Hybrid Audio Technologies. “Since inception in 2005, Hybrid Audio Technologies-equipped cars have continued to dominate in organized competition. Combined with the efforts of our Brax and Helix competitors,” said Scott Buwalda “there was a veritable sea of maroon jerseys bearing the Hybrid Audio Technologies logo at the awards ceremony. Among all of the other accolades and achievements, I am elated by a few notable competitors using our Unity speakers and amplifiers. This finals represents the first event where fully-equipped Hybrid Audio Technologies cars were competed, from front stage speakers, subwoofers, to amplifiers, and said vehicles achieved a great deal of success.”
