Prestige Wheelhouse Grand Opening 2017 PASMAG 018

The state of Maryland showed support for one of its own. Prestige Wheelhouse, with Byron Mapp on the helm, strives in providing the automotive aftermarket community with the best in customer service and availability in product (tire, wheel, suspension). So it was no surprise that hundreds of enthusiasts, and their vehicles, were in attendance at the Prestige Wheelhouse Grand Opening, hosted by SoTrendy and Maryland Motor Club, at the Meade Senior High School in Junction, Maryland on April 2nd. Cars, DJ (The Kid), food trucks, dyno, vendors, car wash, giveaways and games and contests were on-site to provide the attendees with, not only a reunion of sorts (after the long winter), but excitement for what's to come in 2017 for Maryland and the surrounding states (DC, VA). The Loudest Exhaust and Low Car Limbo contests were crowd favorites!

Tokyo Auto Salon 2013

January 11-13, 2013 Chiba, Japan Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 280,000 people, 800 cars, four days, 12 hours of sleep, one M6 convertible, 73 cans of Red Bull, and 3,000 shots later, the curtain, mercifully, fell on the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon. As with any Tokyo Auto Salon, it’s sensory overload from the minute you get in to the minute you leave. This year we had a ton of spectacles to witness inside and outside the Makuhari Messe in Chiba and an indication of how much bigger 2013 was, was in the opening of the North hall, which has remained…

Import Face-Off 2011: Columbus, OH

Photos by Cliff Wallace - www.importfaceoff.net Paul Armstrong from Logan, Ohio (Slowmotion Motorsport Civic Hatch) took home the FWD win and $1000 running in the finals against number one qualifier, Rob Morse from Lawrenceburg, Indiana (TPR Motors Civic Hatch). Even though he was never warned throughout the day, Rob claimed to have given the win away after thinking he would have been DQed for running faster than 9.99 seconds without a proper license. Expect an all out rematch between these two at the Virginia Import Face-Off on October 30th. Matt Lennan (Black, Fuel Injector Clinic Supra) made the trek from…

Import Face-Off 2010: Epping, NH

Photos by Cliff Wallace 1st annual New England IMPORT FACE-OFF May 23rd, 2010 at New England Dragway in Epping, NH. After noticing no other national Import events were going back to New England this race season, Import Face-Off continued to fill the void by scheduling New England Dragway in 2010. The event was such a success, Joe Lombardo, New England Dragway manager, has already scheduled the 2nd annual New England IFO for the same weekend in 2011 and most likely a second one in the fall. The stands were packed (see pics) and car show score cards were sold out…
