PASMAG Import vs Domestic 2016 Philadelphia Werks Automotion Elite Tuner 22

If you’re looking for a show that’s all about build quality, look no further than Elite Tuner shows. Touching down in Philadelphia, the Sunday “Import vs Domestic” show presented by R/T Tuning was a battle royale between imports and domestic cars, all built to show-stopping levels of modification. Like many Elite Tuner shows, this show attracted an audience from all over, with some competitors even coming from out of the country to showcase their rides.

With cash prizes for Best of Show and Best Team Participation, there was no shortage of high-profile competitors or big teams. The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum filled inside and out with a wide array of the best cars the import and domestic crowds had to offer in a face-off style showdown. Tuner Battlegrounds was also underway, where Drew Evans won the #TBGLIVE award with his custom Liberty Walk-kitted G37 sedan.

If you’re looking for a reason to head to Philly, this city has even more greatness than just cheesesteak sandwiches and famous skate spots! Be sure to keep an eye out for the much anticipated return of Import vs Domestic. #pasmag

SPOCOM 2014: Richmond, CA

On Saturday, May 10, 2014, SPOCOM amazed attendees with "The Ultimate Consumer & Trade Show" at The Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, CA. The team at SPOCOM HQ in Southern California (Rommel, Paul and Tricia), once again, worked with their northern counterpart, Cary Inayoshi in San Jose, for attendees to witness over 300 customized cars, trucks and bikes competing for one of the most prestigious trophies - the SPOCOM "spear". The nation's hottest industry models at the Model Lounge and in the sexy bikini contest gave the show-goers an excuse to keep their cameras at the ready (and at full zoom).…

Southern W├Ârthersee 2014: Helen, GA

Written by Randi Bentia | Photos by Michael Watson The Volkwagen Audi Group (VAG) community has either heard of or participated in the event titled, "Wörthersee". The Wörthersee Tour in Reifnitz, Austria is the largest gathering of VAG enthusiasts in the world. Here in North America, the team at H2O Tuning hosts Southern Wörthersee, also known as SOWO, in the Bavarian-themed town of Helen, Georgia. On May 18-19, 2014, the event brought together cars and fans of the European car market, but many people and Japanese import cars were also seen in attendance, of which also appreciated the European atmosphere.…

Japanese Classic Car Show 2014: Long Beach, California

The annual Japanese Classic Car Show is a must attend event for anyone interested in the JDM scene, and the 10th annual event held last fall at Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, California took things to a whole new level of awesome! The sun was out, but it wasn’t too hot, there was a light breeze and the clouds were amazing. The show itself was, from what I could tell, very well put together with tons of high-quality cars everywhere you looked. A nice selection of old bikes was a pleasant surprise, but it was the Skylines that stole…

Import Face-Off 2010: Baton Rouge, LA

Johnny Williams pulled the upset win in the FWD class after number qualifier and 2010 points leader, Aaron Lopez (San Antonio, TX) timed out in the first round of eliminations. Aaron was looking to take the easy win, but he did not realize the timing clock started as soon as his opponent’s second staging bulb flickers. The second bulb never stayed completely lite, only flickered, due to an extremely shallow stage. Before the second bulb, both racers sat on one light playing a “staging duel” for about 15 seconds. This just goes to show there is more to drag racing…
