Formula Drift Round 5 2011: Monroe, WA

Just 30 short miles Northeast of downtown Seattle sits a quiet little town named Monroe and for the 6th straight year, Evergreen Speedway played host Formula D’s “Battle in Seattle” event, the 50th in the young history of the Formula Drift series. After some mid-season adjustments to the weight-to-tire ratio which regulates the amount of tire each car is allowed to run as a ratio of the overall weight, the cars were expected to be more competitive across the board and the sold-out crowd of more than 8,000 fans was treated to one of the best shows of the season.…

XDC: West Virginia

The XDC headed West Virginia for this years Hyperfest and XDC drift competition. Last years drift comp had Nate Brasz on top, can he hold his crown or will he get phazed out? There will be plenty more going on that weekend as well; 24 hrs of Lemons will be there along with Hyperfest’s signature Rice Rice challenge. SQOLOGY at Aggieland V Invitational SQ Sound Tournament: MECA IASCA Triple Points Event

Mobile Toys Inc. has hosted the widely acclaimed event called Aggieland for five consecutive years now. Aggieland is Christerfer Pate’s brainchild, and the concept encompasses all the major elements of sound quality car audio competition including MECA and IASCA triple point events, in addition to the key feature: the famed Money Round with a $5,000 payout, spread over the top ten places.
